About Cargly

Howdy, and thanks for stopping by!

Cargly came into existence several years ago because we couldn't find a vehicle management app for our phones that was also accompanied by a website. Many of the fitness apps of the time had both a mobile app and website, and so we set off to create a vehicle "fitness" app and website. We had a few other goals:

• No phone lock-in. Users should be able to use any phone they want, and when they log in, their data should just be there.
• Easy vehicle sharing. Everyone in our family that might fill-up the car should also be able to easily record the fill-up on their phone.
• Comprehensive. All car data should be in one place. Fill-ups, service, trips, should all be in one place.

We know we're not done yet, but we feel what we have today is a pretty good start.

As we've been building Cargly, we've also noticed something else: an opportunity to make a positive impact. Today, we hope to make Cargly something more than just a record keeping app. We want Cargly to take a more active role in helping car owners keep their cars healthy and even provide them incentives for keeping their cars healthy.
